I took part in UPenn's ESAP CG program in summer 2023. I've had some exposure to 3D before, but this program was my first real systematic exposure to it. We learned about modelling with Autodesk Maya - the interest of CG has since then been planted in my heart.
When I got back home I assigned myself projects in order to practice. The first one was to render. I made and modified models with Autodesk Maya and rendered with KeyShot. Most of them are uploaded to Instagram, I’ve also chosen some that I was satisfied with to upload to Unsplash. It was a total surprise when I got the notification that I got featured on the website – then the views soared. Till now, I’ve got 3 featured and 550k+ views with my rendering works, and the most-viewed has 170k+ views.
The works can’t be counted as delicate, but the recognition by the public gave me the confidence to carry on this field of interest.
The project is currently paused to spare time for other projects, but I’d love to restart in University.
Above shows some creation process; Below shows some of the works that I've done; you might click the images to enlarge or see their titles.
