I taught myself animation with the book “The Animator’s survival kit” by Richard Williams. The work shown is a walkcycle animation and transitions between various poses I did during this period. All parts of the process, including animation and rendering, are done using Autodesk Maya.

The Image below shows the important keyframes that are used to create the walkcycle.

I'm also affected deeply by "Twelve Principles of Animation" formulated by Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas. Good animation must stem from a good character silhouette, they say.
This is also a foundational practice about character rigging and transition between poses, but I believe excellence is achieved by mastery of the fundamentals.
